Aquest any han coincidit diversos esdeveniments molt importants: d'una banda és l'Any Internacional dels Boscos (UN) i també és l'any dels Pirineus (CTP) i a més a més aquest 11 de desembre de 2011 celebrem el "Dia Internacional de les Muntanyes" (UN).
EL GRÈVOL TORNA ALS PIRINEUS

El Grèvol (Bonasa bonasia), una espècie extinguida als Pirineus ara farà un segle, ha tornat als Pirineus. Un programa de reintroducció de l'espècie impulsat pel govern de la Val d'Aran i la Generalitat de Catalunya, ha començat aquesta setmana l'alliberament del primer exemplar provinent dels Alps. Aquest és el primer pas per consolidar una població en els boscos d'avets i fajos de la baixa Val d'Aran (municipis de Bossost, Les, Canejan, entre d'altres).

Apren amb nosaltres com ajudar els ocells i altres animals del teu jardí de diferents maneres. Per què és important? Moltes espècies d'animals viuen al costat nostre. Al jardí, al terrat o als entorns de casa. Alguns exemples en són les orenetes, els falciots, els rat-penats, les sargantanes o els petits ocells. Moltes d'aquestes espècies es troben en regressió i no troben llocs adequats per niar o alimentar-se. Amb una petita acció, tu pots ajudar-los molt.
