World Nature is aware of the fact that we cannot portect a natural environment and the endangered species living there without taking the local human communities into consideration as well.

Therefore, there should be a form of action that bonds conservation of nature and cooperations towards development of local communities.

Our actions always have this double objective: conserving environment and species while cooperating with people living there.

The mountain areas give home to some very important habitats and their species, however, the fact that local communities have been transiting to urban and industrial environments leads to major impoverishment and to abuse of nature and as a consequence, to the lack of biodiversity.

Cooperation towards development:

• Enforcing and diversifying economies in mountain areas is one of our priorities. We promote the Athenean example (???) that excelled in agriculture and farming while maintaining an agroecological balance that was based on quality, healthiness and respect of nature.
• Promoting a clean industry that doesn’t lead to contamination, compatible with the landscape, peasantry in the nature and how this could be in accordance with the industry of the 21st centrury. For example, we are working on developing the industry regarding biomass as an energy source, consulting with particular organizations and institutions.

 Conservation of Biodiversity:

• In relation with conservation of biodiversity, we work in highly valuable natural environments, like those giving home to endangered species.
• Trying to reach an agreement with public or private owners of natural environments, we offer them consultancy services regarding management and natural resources that would lead to the maintanance of values and needs that these natural environments require.
