Future generations
Educating future generations, especially young kids:

World Nature is dedicated to the task of conserving the most important natural environments of the world, although, at the same time we also realize the neccessity of making the population of the world conscious of the importance of protecting the nature, without trying to put human development to a limit.
We are convinced that educating our children is essential in order to accomplish our goals. The kids of today are the adults of tomorrow. They will be able to create a sustainable development without putting the nature and biodiversity to danger, if they have the necessary values and respect towards nature. Today, almost 75% of the medicines we use to preserve our health are based on synthetised plants. The medicines of the future which will combat current and future diseases, will be based on natural sources. But also some of the quality food, fresh air and clean water are an important prerequisite for life on Earth.
No matter how essential the topic is, it still doesn’t get the necessary presence in today’s education system. World Nature would like to contribute to improving the situation in a modest way, as it’s the core of our work and important component of the quality of life. We would like to make this kind of education one of our priorities by offering information and services that our children could use at school or in their freetime, or when it comes to different activities and trainings. We offer useful contents on our web page, on DVD, in children’s books, special print editions and brochures, toys, games and initiatives directed towards parents, partners and collaborators, even You.
Get to know and start to love what we are protecting all together
Therefore, we would like you to get active and visit our projects and other natural environments so that you can get to know the life and work of participants working on development and nature conservation on the spot. We are protecting mountain areas all over the world focusing on biodiversity and also on the people living there, elaborating education materials for their kids, offering information and material for schools and services for families, and at the same time we offer them tours and excursions to project sites where they can travel together on a holiday or at weekends.
